A Space That Meets Me Where I Am
As a business owner, I’ve learned that where I work matters just as much as how I work.
I love my home office. It’s quiet and familiar. It gives me space to think. But I also need connection, energy, and a place to meet people face-to-face.
Enter: Connects Workspace.
It gives me the balance I didn’t realize I needed: a place to drop in, plug into a community, and step into a highly collaborative version of my work.
Where Strategy Comes to Life
One of the ways I use Connects is for deep-dive strategy sessions with new clients.
I’ll book a conference room and spend a few hours together, unpacking their business from the inside out, diving past the surface level in the nitty-gritty of strategy. We get raw.
We talk about what actually moves the needle, where revenue is generated, what deserves attention, and how they want to be represented in the world. From there, we build a social media strategy that reflects who they are as experts and innovators. Content that puts educating, inspiring, and connecting before the sales pitch.
Almost every time, the session ends the same way: “I feel so much better. I finally have a plan, and I see social media in a whole new light.” Followed by, “This space is amazing. I see why you like working here.”
The environment Connects has created sets the tone for the work we’re doing together.
A Place to Gather and Share
Connects has also been the perfect place to host and participate in community events.
I’ve had the opportunity to lead lunch-and-learn style sessions focused on how to stand out online and create social media content that effectively connects with the right audience. What better place than this to talk about connection?
I’m especially excited about an upcoming event with the Golden Women in Business Marketing Circle and Level Up Series.
We’re bringing together a panel of experts to answer marketing questions from women business owners in the community. I’ll be covering social media, alongside experts in SEO and AEO, reputation management, website, AI, and LLMs.
It’s an event where you can come as you are, ask what’s been on your mind, and leave with ideas you can use right away.
