World Child Cancer World Child Cancer is dedicated to addressing the disparity of cancer care for children across the world. We believe that every child, no matter where they are born should have equal access to the best possible treatment and care. Donate here!
The Golden Backpack Program While The Golden Backpack Program paved the way for distributing food and meals to Golden school children and families, they have expanded the mission. BGOLDN serves students just as The Golden Backpack Program did, while continuing to confront food insecurity for people of all ages throughout the community. Donate here!
Golden Civic Foundation The GCF and its Board of Directors work collaboratively with organizations and people committed to making a difference in the life of our community. Rocky Mountain Police Chaplains "Serving those who serve us." Rocky Mountain Police Chaplains was established January 2014 from a vision to unify Police Chaplains within this region of the United States. The vision to create collaborative and interactive relationships has formed because of the necessity to organize their efforts and resources. Donate here! Other Nonprofit Connects Members: Neighborhood Rehab Project Last year, 1,100+ volunteers worked throughout Golden, Arvada, Idaho Springs and Englewood, CO addressing warm, dry, and safe needs within families and individual homes. We invite homeowners into a dignified process that enables them to be involved addressing their household needs, learning maintenance skills, and building community relationships. Persisting through the uncertainty of COVID-19 meant downsizing their annual day of service in 2020, distributing volunteer days across 3 months to continue helping homeowners stay warm/dry/safe through it all. Donate here!
Socially Responsible Agriculture Project Socially Responsible Agricultural Project (SRAP) works to help communities across the U.S. replace industrial livestock production with ecologically sound, socially equitable, and economically viable animal agriculture. Donate here!
Connects will be closed Dec. 24th through Jan. 3rd for the holidays! If you have 24/7 membership, you are welcome to work in the space but no staff will be on duty.
